Hi all,
I am using my Monk to clear some areas and she relies pretty heavily on Enchantments and Bonds maintained by heroes.
I have access to all 3 campaigns but I can only play Hard Mode in Prophecies because I haven't finished the others.
What would be nice areas in Tyria to clear where I don't have to fear losing my Enchantments to a Mesmer or Necro? Any areas will do, I don't care much for godly-leet drops, I'm still learning so any area with decent experience and drops would do.
Thankyou.
Enchantment Removal-free areas?

The minotaurs outside Ice Tooth Cave should do fine - they only deal brute force.

In hard mode any area with mesmers or necros will always have enchant removal. Just look around for places/ mobs withought them. In tyria there's minotaurs, hydras, griffons. Just got to look around.

don t ask others to do it for ya

UW smite crawlers dont use enchant removal, but thats more suited for a dual run i guess.

A monk can solo Mergoyles outside Gates of Kryta, if you're careful enough and dont take too many. Also you can take the titan quests and then solo as a monk....

hard mode undead outside bergen and through the cursed lands.
I solo vanquish the cursed lands regularly with the standard SoJ smite 55. No enchant strips from the many mesmers in and on the way....just alot of degen that's easily countered by picking your groups wisely.(no rangers with both mesmers and hounds...and don't move once you aggro a ranger. Hunter's shot causes bleeding, and with with poison if you pull the necrid horseman at the same time with barbs it's gg)
Lots of good drops, golds, runes, lots of bone in large quantity that can be merched for 750 a stack(and you WILL get a stack)...and a bunch of decayed orr emblems for Halloween if that's the collectible in LA.

A while back I used to use my 55 monk to solo the undead in the Gates of Kryta mission in HM. I could be an ass and tell you to look it up but I'm a nice guy, so here goes. Keep in mind this doesn't have to be done with a 55 monk, but it is nicer. You could use just about anything as long as you're dealing holy damage against all the undead.
Enter the mission, put up all your enchants. When you run forward there will be some villagers running towards you followed closely by a group of undead. (take note of the fence to your left.) Wack that group of undead and another will come up behind them. Wack them too. Killing these two groups (for me anyways) makes more undead pop up later. Then go back to that fence go towards Oink, then go around and behind the house with the little fence around it. Once there it's a simple matter of killing all the undead in the area. Again, I'm not to sure about exact directions here but.... after the initial swarm of undead turn right, killing undead along the way, keep going straight, then when you get to the area where you can go left to continue the mission, go right instead. You will find a few more undead and an undead boss. It varies as to what profession the boss will be but I do remember one of them as being next to impossible to kill with a 55. I'll try and get a map and build and such to you later when i get some time.
Best part of this run, at least it was a few months back, was that the undead will drop dead bows and the occasional sephis axe. I have a half dozen or so perfect dead bows that, sadly, son't seem to be worth a hill of beans these days. But then again, there are always the mods u can salvage off of them..... enjoy!
