As the other posters have said NO you wont be able to transfer gold ect
I been playing for 2 years and would be nice to take what I have accumulated to GW2
BUT It's a new game new characters ect ect ect
We all NEED to start fresh and all on a lvl playing field IMO
Thats how I hope it stays and just have HoM to show off your
stuff to your "Descendants"

But yeah, no. There won't be. Its like saying your X-Box live rating from Halo 2 should transfer to Halo 3. New game, new engine, new design means you start over again.
The only thing that will definitely, positively transfer from GW1 to GW2 is the whining. Lots and lots of it too!
