The speed boost is probably due to the server update they finished today. Check the front page for the notice.

And I don't remember it being this fast even late at night before.

Was the slowdown caused by hardware I.E not enough muscle to power a DB as large as the guru's or was it bandwidth ?

I'd like to offer my thanks, as well. I read the frontpage news and then came here to check– pages actually load in a normal amount of time, and I haven't gotten any timeouts like I used to. Awesome.

You and I both. It used to take minutes sometimes to get a page to load. I guess that would be 14.4k.

I'm not sure about vbulletin searching right now and when/if that will come back, so I'll get back to you on that issue. I am aware it's a big complaint though. Right now the uploading of some images/avatars for both auctions and forums seem to be having issues as well so we are looking into that.

Thanks for upgrading whoever was involved, it's pretty much instant load like other sites now ) Like some one said before you could click a thread and go do something else while it loaded even on 6meg cable lol. Anyway thnx again.
