Drops between HM and NM

Dunno if this basic question, me as hardcore farmer should know this but ain't sure. The question is basicly that, do HM UW drop more ectos than NM?

I've tried both.... so rare and random that i can't tell. Sometimes in normal mode I get 3 on one ss/55 run, and none on Hard.

NM drops more than HM for me.

given that rare crafting material is exempt from loot scaling, i'm not surprised by the responses. no hardmode underworld for me

I would say that those drops are the same. But ye, they tend to vary a lot. From 1 ecto in NM to 4 in HM,and the next 2 runs can be 1 in HM and 4 in NM , So I'd guess it's about the same.
