Honestly, if you play an online game and have a typing speed of anything less then ~40 words per miniute, you will have a hard time communicating anyway. It shouldn't take that long to type /resign. Besides, touch typing is an important skill to learn anyway in the buisness world today, so I figure people need as much pratice as they can get.

Nah, too easy to mess up, and /resign isn't something you want to type accidentally.

Maybe it could be handy if you're looking for a Survivor title (as I guess you are), but I don't think it would make a notable difference in any other case.

When you start RA (I suppose that is why you want to shorten /resign), just copy /resign before going. Then paste by Ctrl-Ving it in the chat window every time you need. End of story.

It would be far too easy to mess this up, it happens quite regularly that I type /*some random character* and I seriously dont want to be resigned when I didnt want it to. So -> /notsigned

...there is a reason why its /resign and not /r. If I was a newbie player and someone told me to type /r id get a bit suspicious.
/resign means something. Besides can you not spell?

/r brings up more problems than the convenience it provides. Plus, learning how to type/spell is a pretty useful thing to know...

how about they change the shortcut of /resign and /rank to /re and /r ^^ /re for /resign and /r for /rank this isnt necessary but it would certainly be helpful in some cases ^^~

More likely than not, A-Net will assign /r to "/report" to make it even easier for idiots to report whoever and whatever they like for such petty reasons as disliking the colour of someone's shoes.
