Ok you might be thinking, what the hell is this about?? Simple its about the upcoming Orange box from Valve and here is what i want to warn you about.
When you have Half-life 2 and hl2 episode one on your account and you buy the orange box which includes both those games for free, you will have the option to give the duplicate games to a friend, more info up here

Okay pretty simple so far, yet here it comes!
There will be players in guild wars, trying to sell the free games for an amount of ingame money, most likely this would be either 50 - 100 K per game, oh yeah easy money making for the win, untill ofcourse your steam account is disabled because trading/selling accounts is against the Steam Subscriber Agreement, and most likely also against the agreement from GW.
Id like to say, DO NOT BUY THEM, simply as some one in gw might report you to either Valve or GW, as far as i know Valve has zero tolerance for this and if they find out you risk getting you account disabled forever, if you want either of these games you might want to sign up at the steam forums, there will probably be some members that give away their games for free, atleast thats a better solution.
Personally i will report anyone that advertises these games for gw money, those games are free, and selling them in an online game still implies selling something that is free, and so you risk getting disabled.
I will put up a similar post at the steam forums soon, people should be aware of this.
Cheers

Common sense would tell you not to trade for othergame items anyways?

Yay, baseless paranoia!
Nothing new either; people have been trading GW items for WoW/Runescape items since Beta.

Just a friendly warning, thats all.

Thanks for the warning, but this has been around for a very long time in most online games. People know this is against the rules, and if they don't they should of read the rules. Theres no need for a heads up thread on this.
