Working the economy

Since the economy is crashed down .... I suggest that ecto drop at 1/5 of the regular time for the next 6 month ... the price will goes up and the economy will go up too.

Same for the green !!!

I am trashing green now ... that a shame!

A-net has been trying to force the economy down for a long time and now that the end of gw1 is in sight(at least the need for armors/runes/dyes). The economy will only go down more. This is what they want it to do because:

1: this discourages gold for profit shops(e-baying gold)

2: it makes it so the casual player isn't left out of "special" armors and weapons.

people can /sign this thread all they want but a-net doesn't want to do anything but force it down.

Economy is player driven. As long as there's supply and demand, the price will stay as it is.

I understand your point but for active player it's getting really boring and frustrating ...

Personnally, I am not sure to buy GW 2 if the economy of the game would look like this one ... GW 1 have to reflect on GW 2 ...

Anet needs to do something at least. I remember when prices on runes/rare crafting materials were reset a long time ago, since then they have went downhill, but they do need to do this at least one or two more times until the introduction of GW2.

Unlike WoW, GW has economy problems because a huge bulk of it is NPC driven, and while this system of supply and demand may work in a regular free market system, in a real life environment, for a game, it doesn't make it as exciting. Which is why it needs to be tweaked a bit.

Guys I hate it when people talk about the economy. You buy things cheaper but also sell them cheaper it's both ways but ffs this is a game. The economy is not the NYSC.
