Idea n1: Boss Hunt NPC
---------------------------------------------------------------------
at fixed hours -ex once every 3 hours- a new NPC in lion's arch calls the hunt for a random boss in whole tyria, and the first character killing that given boss and coming back gets a reward, may it be gold, a point towards a title -gamer anyone?-, a gemstone u can use to craft a weapon from a new set of skins, or any mix of the above.
Simulation of how this work: NPC in lion's arch shouts "Bring me the head of Ferk Mallet" from this moment on Ferk Mallet drops a new item "The head of Ferk Mallet"---> ppl run to ring of fire (or to guildwiki looking for Ferk Mallet.) enter the mission and kill him. He drops The "head of Ferk Mallet" customized item ---> take back that to the npc. the first 3-5 people completing it get bigger rewards, but anyone completing in time (say it 30 minutes) gets something. -1 gemstone 1title point each, a lot more for winner(s)-
Should the NPC call the same boss few hours/days later, the new heads are tagged in a different way so ppl cannot use old ones to get the reward avoiding to kill the boss again.
additional content simulation: the same NPC in lion's arch gives people a big book -dungeon master guide style- with many entries to register that u killed a given boss.
NPC shouts the hunt as always, from this moment only u're credited the kill of the given boss on the book, if u kill before or after the hunt is active u get nothing on your book.
Once the book is completed -and completed means a huge amount of time- u get some bigger reward, even if u havent been the first killing any boss in the hunt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
pro of these = not for farmers, not for botters, for ppl who play the game, should be relativly easy to code, rewards both hardcore players (complete the book takes ages specialy if the NPC calls for random bosses without any given order) and casual players (1 hunt can be completed in few minutes)...
thoughts? hopefully it's clear enough
