I apologize if there is another thread dealing with this, but I don't have access to the SEARCH function for some reason.
I would like to petition ANet to adjust the Vizunah Square Cooperative Mission. I have had many instances where I enter the mission from one side (Local Quarter or Foreign Quarter), and meet up with the other team coming from the other side only to have that team bail on me for unkown reasons. That leaves me two options: 1) zone out and retry the mission again; 2) try to accomplish the mission on my own.
The problem is - the mission is designed for 2 8-man teams. If one side zones out, you're stuck trying to accomplish the mission with 1/2 of the people needed to get through it! (I've tried and failed miserably in the next to last onslaught. There's simply too many enemies to attack while keeping Mehnlo and Togo alive.)
I would like ANet to make it so that, if one of the 2 teams decides to bail: a) you are notified of their intention to zone (just like the misson cut-scenes); and b) are provided an 8-man Henchman team to replace the missing group.
Most people end up simply rezoning, and take their chances on meeting up with a team that will stick the mission out to the end. I had a Paragon try to do this mission, and tried 7 times only to fail because the other team zoned on me! It was completely out of my hands, and I could not progress him through the game until I finally met up with a player who stayed in the mission. (We got Master's after all of that!)
Thank you for your consideration.

Leave and get a new team....if they leave at the beginning you lost what...30 seconds of your precious time?

Actually, this mission makes you wait about 2 minutes. There's a 50-60 second countdown before you zone into the mission, and then another 50-60 countdown while you wait for Mehnlo or Togo to speak before you can even start the mission. Once you start, it's a good 3 minutes or so before you've finished the first battle - so, no, you've lost closer to 5 minutes before you "leave and get a new team." Now, take those 5 minutes and do that 5 or 6 times in a row and maybe you'll understand my frustration.

Oh god, please yes... This has happened to me so many times. It's fine if they leave at the beginning, but when you're close to the end and they cap their skill and just leave! BARGH!!!! I hate that. The worst is, even if it's at the beginning, when you re-try the mission because EVERY TIME YOU DO IT the other team leaves. It's happened to me a couple of times that way. After the first big mob, 5 consecutive times the other team left. Drove me MAD!

Just add the option for players when entering the mission:
Hench Team
Human Team (obviously it will still give hench when a second human group can't be found)
Most people would rather start with hench anyway.

Worth a shot. One of the better missions to do as a PuG anyway, because as long as each team gets one good MM who knows his stuff, it's almost a guaranteed win. Earth eles with wards, and fire nukers also help alot. Get a good team, and play it through.

I wonder how difficult it would be to have any loss of party member being replaced by a henchie of the same prime class.
With usual safeguards to prevent player exploitation.
Anything that is fair to all and reduces player frustration is good imo
