I just tried this 3 times, and never got out of the first room.
Either I'm running the worst builds in the world, or it's just stupidly hard.
Me:
Ice Spear, Water Attunement, Maelstrom, Ice Spikes, Deep Freeze, eruption, ward against harm and breath of the great dwarf.
Tahl:
Orison of healing, Word of Healing, Heal Party, Divine Intervention, Mend Condition, Remove Hex, Divine Spirit and Res Chant
Dunk:
Shielding Hands, Prot Spirit, Shield of Absorb, Ward against melee, extinguish, shield of regen, remove hex, res chant
Gwen:
Energy Surge, Backfire, Empathy, Power Spike, Mistrust, Spiritual Pain, Power Drain, Res Chant
Mhenlo
Eve
Cynn
Talon
That's not a bad team is it? I managed to kill the first two mobs ok, but the one's guarding each exit are so powerful it's impossible to bring them down. A defender and priest dwarf can completely out heal all the damage done by my party. It's impossible!
Any tips?
Forgewight (in fact, any Slaver's Exile missions)

General concensus is that even great builds will falter if they are employed recklessly. A major key to Slaver's is agro management (intensely frustrating with H/H) and target order selection. As a Warrior I generally tried to weaken the heavy hitters and use wall blocking while my casters pressured the healers/warders. Not an easy task with H/H party but doable, albeit with a number of party wipes.
Forgewight is the only dungeon that I partied with real people as a ho hum ob flesh tank. The other dungeons including Duncan were essentially done with the same H/H makeup--I did adjust my necro henchie as Signet of Sorrow, SV spammer while I went out to watch The Kingdom.
Learn patrols, Scout ahead of your party to learn agro threshold and pull wisely and don't give up. GL

EDIT:
You have plenty of healing/prot...In fact, i only used hench healers, the rest of my party (with exception of Forgewight OC) were builds stolen from this thread

Ward and extinguish are both really expensive spells. Both would work better on an ele. Actually, eles make good party healers. For prot monks, Zealous Benediction makes for a good heal, but heroes can be a bit reckless using it. Frozen soil can make dealing with rezzers faster. You have too much healing, and simply not enough damage. Cebe
The OP should consider using Hench monks so as to maximise his damage output. Since you determine your hero's builds you can give them builds which synergise.
When I beat Forgewright's dungeon I used the "Necro Trio" build as found here, along with Cynn, Herta, Mhenlo and Lina. I was full water. Maelstrom = gg Forgrwright, not to mention [wiki]Ward Against Harm[/wiki] has been my most abused elite skill in EotN thus far. Perhaps this thread should be merged with the many many others Slavers' Exile threads? Uber Mass
i mainly use people ^^

After beating Forgewright 5-6 times, both with pugs, guildies and alone, I've learned a few things here.
First, if your alone, flagging heroes is extremely important as you recieve alot of AoE dmg here. If you have pain inverter, it will usually kill a foe using AoE spells in matter of seconds. If you don't have a human tank, you might as well just drop the warrior. Talon will only make things harder, trust me. Grab a Paragon or minion master instead. Bring wards and make sure your henches stay in them, flag the heroes. I suggest hench monks, then bring more dmg. Bring a rit with shelter and recup, mine had martyr as elite. Helps with the massive AoE dmg and burning. Bring Frozen Soil. Most enemies in Slavers' Exile have res. bungusmaximus
Lol I didn't hero-hench any of these, usually the outpost is packed with people. Getting a group isn't too bad there, slaver's exile is rather easy when you got your hands free. I found it easier with a human group, a remotely good human group that is, the only thing they should know is when to kite and when to pull back.
