Protective Spirit and sacrifices

Does [skill]Protective Spirit[/skill] reduce the amount of damage you take from a sacrifice?

"life stealing will go right through this skill, as life stealing is not considered damage."

Sacrifices aren't life stealing. However, they still won't be reduced by PS because they aren't "damage".

Althought life stealing isn't the same thing as sacrifice the poster above me is correct and PS doesn't reduce anything.

Would've been easy to test this yourself in Isle of the Nameless
