the pictures are very stylistically impressive. the lighting and shading really give the pictures a lot of emotion.
I do see some awkwardness in the photos, or certain things don't seem quite right, but they're by and large very small nitpicks.
Your work has this airy, ethereal almost ghost-like feel to it sometimes. Enchanting, maybe?
Hmm ghost-like? That's a new take. Interesting comment thanks. In the future I would like to learn to express moods or emotions more in a picture rather than just characters posing even though it's fun to just draw poses. :]

Well, a lot of the pictures I see drawn by people have a kind of 'set up' feel to them - you know, as if the characters themselves decided that they were in some sort of Guild Wars photoshoot, and were posing.
A lot of your pictures seem kind of captured inbetween those types of moments. Sure, some of your pictures are more posed than spontaneous, but by and large when I see your pictures I feel like I was able to see as a picture something more fleeting, barely glimpsed.
I have to admit I haven't seen your entire body of work, just the stuff you've posted here on gurus, so I could be off the mark. But as it relates to the Guild Wars type art you've drawn thus far, this is how I feel.
You know when we go about our everyday lives, we don't necessarily express ourselves with our faces. If we aren't directly communicating with other people, our self expression is much more subtle than a frown or a smile. It could be something as obvious as a brow furrowed slightly in thought, or something more subtle as looking totally un-selfconscious. Whether you mean to or not, or whether other people feel the same way as I do or not, I feel like you manage to pick out those less obvious emotions and put them on paper.
Which is why I want to get a commission from you =p
