UK PC Gamer Minipets

I just bought 2 copies of PC Gamer thinking I would get 2 codes for 2 pets, instead I find that there are only 1000 codes!

Was the disclaimer always there? Cos I don't remember reading it...

Yes the disclaimer and numbers on the cards have been added recently (checked that page on friday to see when the PC Gamer issue should of come out and all it had on the page was the card pictures,that one paragraph and the list of magazines that are involved with the promotion).

Not only has the disclaimer been added, but the numbers of available pets of each type has been added as well:

650 Grawl
100 Yeti
100 Naga
100 Oni
20 Zhed
20 Shiroken
10 Visu

These details were definitely not on the page previously.

I also posted the odds of getting one of these pets in that thread based on the latest circulation figures I could find.

I was going to buy two copies of both PC Gamer and PC Zone, one for me and one for my son, at a cost of around £25 ($50), but now I am not going to bother after seeing the odds.

I'll spend the money on a copy of Sam and Max instead!

Maybe I'm being dumb here but is it 1000 mini-pets given away for each different magazine or is it 1000 between all the magazines across Europe?

Ha! I think we should all put in a complaint to A-Net. But altering the site, I think after the said release date of the magazine, they mislead many people and caused a whole lot of confusion. If I knew there were only 1000 pets in total I would never had bought the magazines.

Question now is how do we complain? :P

Each Magazine i believe, but even then the odds of getting a winning code are minimal... I dare say the majority of people with winning codes aren't even Guild Wars players. Just think someones probably shoved a Vizu in the bin...
