Did they change the way the dye works on magni crown?

I just got the crown for my paragon and noticed it looked different than it did for my assassin. I decided try dye on it and red dyed it a bright red. My previous crown dyed gold when I used red dye. Have they changed this? Does it differ according to profession? Or was my first crown a glitch?

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere other than people complaining when the crown first came out about the odd dye color.

I had to dye it two colors to get a good "real gold" color. The neon red look wasn't so good . . ..

Just got a new crown fror my sin and dyed it. Red still makes it gold -just like the old crown. But red makes the crown neon red for my paragon. So the crown dyes differently for different professions apparently - weird.

I had to use 3 dif colors of dye to get mine to be approx the same color as my female warriors sunspear armor dyed yellow. Was a bit of a pain
