Which Titles are easiest to max next?
SotiCoto
Got "People Know Me" yesterday.
My Assassin got the titles in this order:
Protector of Cantha
Canthan Grandmaster Cartographer
Protector of Tyria
Canthan Skill Hunter
Tyrian Skill Hunter
Protector of Elona
Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer
Elonian Grandmaster Cartographer (three days ago)
Legendary Cartographer (three days ago)
Elonian Skill Hunter (yesterday)
Legendary Skill Hunter (yesterday)
..... But I'm not sure what should come next.
What else is there that I could effectively max? I'm not comfortable with Hard Mode (certainly not enough to get Vanquisher or Guardian titles) anywhere but perhaps the Desolation in Judundu... I am suspecting that the next stop would be getting Sunspear 8 to Sunspear 10 and then maybe Lightbringer from 5 upward....
Would I be better off starting on my hoardings of sweets and booze now instead?
Honestly... what other titles can I max out?
Or am I going to be stuck perpetually on Rank 2 Maxed Titles?

you should have done Survivor in the first place

My Sin was my first character. The only character with more deaths than him is my Pre-Searing Warrior going for LDoA .... and her death-count is absolutely ridiculous.
Survivor is the one title I would never even try for... as I'm not kidding myself into thinking for an instant I could manage it. I'd probably find it easier to get the Vanquisher titles.

IMHO, sunspear is retardedly easy to max with worm farming in hard mode. Lightbringer isn't hard but is more of a grind, although even that isn't terrible. My favorite place to do lightbringer was hard mode domain of secrets, there's a run that takes like 20 minutes and has 2 bosses, or you can just do the whole area. I wasn't good at hard mode either when I started, but playing exclusively in hard mode made me much better at it, the trick is changing your build and bringing the right hero builds for each area. Don't be frustrated at doing an area or mission several times before you get it. Also bring lockpicks cause you can work on treasure/wisdom/lucky/unlucky at the same time, cause after you get 21 titles and you're hoarding booze and sweets and trying to figure out what title to max next you'll be happy you had a head start
And after like level 3 I'm very important, be prepared for people to accuse you of ebaying your way to the title...

Legendary Spearmarshall, Lightbringer, in fact, any "grindy grindy" titles are easy to max, albeit very VERY boring. I've managed Legendary Spearmarshall but haven't had the motivation yet to max out Lightbringer. Maybe one day.
I guess sweets and booze would be easy if you didn't mind farming for the money to just buy them, whilst, of course, taking full advantage of upcoming holiday events!

Agreed, if you have a laggy computer LIKE MINE! *BLOWS UP COMPUTER* RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHY DO YOU SUDDENLY LAG FOR NO REASON!.... anyways....
yeah if you have a laggy comp, survivor is something you WONT EVEN THINK ABOUT! Don't even try it because it will just be a trail of tears.
If you're a prophecies character these days I guess it's almost a given that you should go get legendary defender of ascalon

The sunspear and lightbringer ones would be your next best bet - they are easy to max in the worm and you can get both at the same time so it doesn't take as much work. Do the temple run (show of force and requiem for a brain quests) in hard mode from ruins of Sahlajah - abandon after you finish it instead of taking the reward or leave one statue untouched so the quest does not complete and then repeat the quest over and over. Plus you get a little bit of money each run (not a lot but some) that you can use to buy the sweets and alcohol with. (I also got a req 9 elemental sword on my third run which was great)
Unfortunately LDoA won't count toward his next level in Kind of A Big Deal on this character

Spearmarshal, Lightbringer, start on Guardians/Vanquishers (whichever is more fun for you).
Use the money gathered from these to buy Spiked Eggnog at Wintersday and get Drunkard.

I suppose I could take on the main area of the Domain of Fear with the Oddbodies for back-up (I deliberately left their last quest incomplete so I could take them with me WHENEVER I go through Domain of Fear).... or just farm "A Show of Force" repeatedly...

Wisdom is a pretty easy track to max out if you have even just one farming character. I know I run my 330 rit through various melee intensive areas in HM for golds. Most of the drops are crap(THANK YOU A NET)but IDing them adds to my wisdom title track.
EternalTempest
Kurzack Hero/Hench doing FFF out of the lighthouse is very easy but unbeleviable boring.
Click, click, click, click, click, wait, click - Take reward repeat.
2nd vote for wurm farming for SS/LB titles. Good news with that one is the rewards/gold/drops are nice.

I know you want easy titles, but I say go for Vanquisher. It is the only PvE title that still gets any kind of respect. (I always congratulate people if I see their Leg. Vanq. announcement.) It's a solid month of fairly regular gaming, though. You can practice for HM with Guardian if you want.

And besides.... since I was so avidly opposed to Hard Mode in the first place, people would only think of me as a hypocrite if I ended up getting Vanquisher and / or Guardian titles...
.... But still... thanks for the advice.
If I want respect for titles then that is what the max-title-ranks are for.... surely? I remember when KoaBD used to be rare. These days there is always someone around with rank 2 at least.
If it was up to me to just display what I like the most, I'd have gone for Incorrigable Alehound already (as it is easily the most amusing title in the game).

I've already done Requiem for a Brain.
I kept A Show of Force for farming in the temple, but it never occurred to me that I might need Requiem for a Brain even though it leads to the same place. Now I think about it though it does make a lot of sense.
Damnit...
It is a pity there isn't a Monolith bounty anywhere in the Sulfurous Wastes (damned american spelling).

Drunkard/sweet tooth/wisdom/treasure hunter <~~easy with cash
What sort of cash limit do you have?
You could do drunkard and LB title at the same time...

I usually roll around the 100k mark.... then end up spending a load on another set of 15k armour for one character or other. I just finished spending a load on sigs of capture, so I'm not exactly well funded.
I DO have a 55 monk for farming though (albeit NOT in the Underworld, since I never set foot there).

RfaB is, I think, a net waste of time because of the time lost travelling. Depending on how well tuned your temple run is, it would just be faster to clear the path to the temple and two extra shrines to get to the 25 margs before getting the bosses and zoning out. Even the 5-7 margs near the marg bounty shrine are generally a net waste of time.
Keithark
Spearmarshal is easy lightbriner is easy but extremely boring. Guardian in Factions is not bad at all...after that I'd wait for HM in EOTN and get the norn , asura, deldrimore titles as they will likely be easier than lightbringer (just say that because I am already r8, 7, and 7 in those and havent played EOTN much at all)

In any case, I think I did at least the last 2 levels of lightbringer and a level or two of spearmarshall with show of force only. It goes a lot faster if you just leave the very first shrine untouched because you don't have to keep talking to the General and Joko before heading out each time. But still very achievable.

It has to be ss/lb, i recently got Kind of a Big deal and found that ss/lb were the easiest out of the 5, although they are extremely boring!
william1975
I agree with the others i have maxed the same titles as you, abiet i went out vanquishing in elona, which of the three chapters is the easiest.
Doing this I maxed out Sunspear, and then vanquished elona doing it.
I dont have maxed lightbringer but I think its the next easiest to do.
Also i would suggest attempting to get as far in the reputation titles of Norn/Ebon/Asuran/Dwarf. they may take time but at least they dont involve killing a whole map in Hard Mode.
My plan is to try vanquishing Tyria and Cantha next then move onto Guardian in Elona and then Tyria, will finally attempt Cantha but with a time limit there dont see much hope.
Wisdom/Treasure are ones i will leave to the end as money intensive, Drunk as well as it takes a long time, and Sweet when i have the money to buy them

I maxed SS in 2 days, LB in 5ish, so it's VERY easy to max those. Also, Guardian is very easy too, just slower. I say do both.

Easiest Titles:
If you have lots of money: Drunkard, Sweet Tooth, Wisdom, Treasure Hunter.
If you don't: SS, LB, Protector, Skill Hunter(need a good amount of money), Cartographer, Guardian, Vanquisher
Kurzick is do able if you can stand a lot of FFF. I can't.
I'd suggest start working for SS, LB, Sweet Tooth, and Drunkard. Buying quest rewards (i.e. Monastery tokens) and saving your own helps. But the best way to get sweets and alcohol in Guild Wars is just like in real life: wait for the festivals. With Halloween coming it's a good time start collecting stuff to turn in.

Going as a worm in Hard Mode just south of the Ruins is great for several title tracks. Sunspear, Lightbringer are easy if you get the bounties but grindy. Use lockpicks to work on your Treasure Hunter and Wisdom Titles, but the max there is a long way off. Plus by using lockpicks you get lucky/unlucky points too. Golds drop on a regular basis and with worms you can increase your drop rate by cutting your party size to five or six. You can usually get enough to fund your lockpick expenses with drops of the occasional elite tome, and yes lockpicks drop out there as well in Hard Mode.

canthan vanquisher is easy to get ^^ might seem weird to some people but I achieved this with really total ease...few occasional of wanting to punch my monitor in...but thats the same 4 every title!
actually very simple with like 3 exceptions! SS and LB are ridiculous to get so simplisticly dum get them same time as elona vanquisher (also fairly simple)

Shoot for you vanquishing title tracks in Hard mode is soo fun and you make some money killing every monster across all 3 campaigns in every area. This will yeald you Mass golds as well for further advancment in you Wisdom title track, Rember to keep lockpicks handy for all the chest there will be alot i mean alot

I cant express enough how easy elite skill hunting is to do, and it almost funds itself from replaying missions and exploring areas to find the bosses.
Also the only pve title I respect ingame is the legendary gaurdian one and with a decent guild its easy to get, but alot of fun and it feels rewarding.

Healers Wisper
do the ele sword farm out of desolation with your sin, you can rack up loot and LB points pretty fast

Legendary Guardian was the most fun, imho, so work towards that as you can (unless for some reason you really dont like it).
Legendary Skill Hunter is also quite fun. It does indeed nearly fund itself but, if it doesnt, a little farming here and there in between things would do it.
SS/LB is maybe the easiest of what you havent done (unless you are rich enough for the money titles), as many have said. Its SO painfully boring though I just havent bothered yet. At some point.

You're not going to be able to max sunspear without doing hard mode I'm afraid, and lightbringer is tedious.
If i was you I'd bite the bullet and take on the guardian titles. They're probably the most fun of whats left. Especially Tyria. Also with Guardian in tyria the missions gets easier as you go on. Old ascalon missions in hard mode are much harder than normal mode because of the small party size, but by the time you get to southern shiverpeaks, you'll barely notice the difference.

I agree with nightwatchmen, do guardian of tyria. probably the easiest since factions has the timed missions and nightfall is well...nightfall (the thought of trying to do grand court of sebelka in hard mode gives me nightmares). Also, as boring as it is, do jujundu runs in the sulfurous waste, pays out decent money and you can work on two titles 3 possibly 4 titles at once you you will get ss and lb, work on wisdom, and if you are lucky enough to get a lockpick or buy some treasure hunter.
chowmein69
the LB and SS are easy to max but it gets borig really fast
or you can try do soem HM missions
or you can try do soem HM missions
Mohnzh
I have the same titles as you, EXCEPT I have LB and SS, but do not have Tyrian cart (and thus legend cart). I'm getting those two now. Of the ten I have, LB and SS were by far the easiest and the ones I am least proud of. SS is REALLY easy, and LB was just kind of boring. Even if you do not have both quests, the Desolation run will still be super-easy, just a little longer. I always had lockpicks with me, so I gained almost two ranks on treasure and wisdom, and also got about halfway through my first lucky and unlucky. Following that, the titles break down into cash vs. skill. If you are rolling in dough: drunkard, sweet tooth, wisdom, treasure hunter, lucky, unlucky. If you feel pretty strong: Vanquishing, Guardian, Kurz, and you might as well get all your EotN titles as high as they can go for now.
Mortal Amongst Mere Gods
Okay, I can't help in regards to PvP titles cause I'm a noob in PvP. But for PvE, I recommend Sunspear first. There's a quick place to farm up some points. In Sulfurous Wastes in Hard Mode, entering from Gate of Desolation. When you get out there, pick up the blessing for undead. Then go to the Junundu spoor to the NW. Once you have the wurm, go in a ring starting NE around the sulfur/sand area. Once you've gone around it, go in to it from the eastern side and find the ranger or dervish boss there (I forget which one it is) and kill it. This normally takes me 10-15 minutes at most and yields around 600 points.
As for Lightbringer, I dunno. My paragon has rank 4 LB, but he ain't gonan bother with that...
Otherwise, I don't have much for you.

For now I am going to take the wonderful advice of all the people around here and just keep farming the Sulfurous Wastes in Judundu until I've got Sunspear and Lightbringer up.... as well as a few extra points for Wisdom, Treasure Hunter, Lucky, Unlucky.... and perhaps if I'm lucky I'll get an Elemental Sword somewhere along the way. =P
It does rather disconcert me that Vanquishing should be easier in Cantha and Elona but Guardian really difficult.... while Guardian is easy in Tyria and the Vanquishing less so... o_0;
