what is the best motherboard that has PCI-E can i but for cheap? my procssor is
Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.7GHz(took it off xfire.com)also if i get a pci-e will it have a agp still cause i wouldent be able to get a pci-e card right away unless i can get both things for under $130

You have a few choices:
1) A board that supports your processor with both AGP and PCI-E:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157115
2) A board with integrated graphics and PCI-E (there are plenty of these out there):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128058
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131197
etc...
3) Cheap PCI-E cards (with rebates):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130075

Personally, I'd go with #2 and deal with integrated graphics until you save up for a better video card. Or you can get one of those cheap graphics cards. The 7600GS is a bit better, but it's $65 versus $40 for the 7300GT.

You have a Core 2 Duo 6700+ and you aren't willing to spend more than $130 on a new motherboard AND a PCI-E video card? Think about what you're doing. That CPU will go to waste with anything less than a GeForce 7900 or a Radeon X1950.

How the hell do you expect to get a Motherboard and graphics Card for £65? That won't even get you the Motherboard, let alone a card.

are exactly $130 and if your wondering how i could aford the procssor i couldent my dad works at intel and every year he gets a free processor if he wants to get one so he got me a duel core
is that a good deal for $130? my current card is a Radeon X1300 XGE would the 7600 be worse or better? if its just a little worse it dosent matter as long as i get an pci thats really what i want right till i can aford a good card i wont be getting and games with good graphics really so it dosent matter
and does the 7600 support sharder modle 3.0?
and where did you get $91?(65 euros)i said $130
lordpwn
I think he said £65 (pounds), not 65 €.
The 7600 GS supports Shader Model 3.0, but it's probably too slow to run any game that makes extensive use of it - unless you like playing at 800x600 and with blurry textures & no AA/AF. I've seen worse deals, though.

Ah, ok. Didn't know there was a beta out. Still, if you claim it runs just "fine" clearly our definitions of "fine" differ somewhat.
I looked up the specs - the 7600GS has 12 pixel shader and 5 vertex shader units, while the X1300 has 4 pixel shader and 2 vertex shader units. I think the 7600GS should be quite a bit faster than the X1300 (overclocked or not) in any new, shader-heavy games. Still not very fast compared to stuff like the GeForce 7950 or Radeon X1950 (or the GF 8800GTS ), but I don't think you can find anything better at your price range.

You're going to love that GeForce 8800, by the way.
fatman12342
ya i know my brother has one and another card im not sure which that one is
one more question what dose it mean by chipset?
Chipsets
North Bridge Intel 945GC
South Bridge Intel ICH7
as long as i got a intel core 2 it will work with any socket 775 board right?
also does fedex ship on weekends i would ask my mom but she isnt awake.because if it does i will get the parts monday(im ordering tommarow)or if they dont and i order tommarow when will it get here?

Generally companies DO NOT deliver on weekends, which sucks when all your stuff is sitting in a warehouse 10 minutes away lol. Yes your CPU will fit in a 775 board. The chipset has to do with motherboard specification. Generally speaking, it deals with what the motherboard supports. For instance the P35 chipsets support intels next generation of CPUs that are going to be 45nm.
Here is a cheap but great P35 chipset:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128059
Little bit more expensive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128050
This is the one I got because it supports DDR3 memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128048
You might as well spend a little bit extra on your mobo than other parts because it is a very VITAL component.

and not every one has alot of money you know i cant aford a better one till im old enough to get a job
one last question are these cards the same?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130075
http://shop4.outpost.com/product/515...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
becasue the boxs are the same but the card looks way diffrent
err there not the one the same one at frys is 140 so i will get that off newegg but the mobo at frys http://shop4.outpost.com/product/537...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
its the exact same price but without shipping so i will save some money
which actual works out best because my dad is home tommarow so i wont **** up my processor cause i dont know how to switch that out i can switch videocards out fine
Horuku
They are the same cards. And I doubt you run crysis "fine" on a x1300. If by "fine" you mean Half-Life 1 quality, then that's just stupid. I used to have a 7600go in a laptop and it got less than 30fps on medium settings with company of heros. If you really think a 7600 will play crysis, then have fun with your delusion.
fatman12342
I can play crysis fine on a x1300 with lowest settings and oblivion with meduim and be fine please shut the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO up like i said i dont have money damn im only 14 its not easy to find a job and at 15 its not gonna be easy but i will still try and then i can upgrade to an 8800 or like 8900 or what ever is out them

I'm sorry, but if you can't even do a simple currency conversion, let alone know what a good motherboard/Graphics Card combo is then I'd suggest you stay away from buying them! At least get someone who knows what they're on about to do it.
Just for the record, how can you play Crysis on that shitty card when Crysis isn't even released yet? If you mean the demo, then I still call bullshit because quite frankly I think you're lying!
fatman12342
ive all ready stated its THE CLOSED BETA GO TO FILEPLANET RIGHT THERE ON THERE MAIN PAGE and mabey i thought the £ was euro
anyways it dosent even matter anymore since my mom cleaned her van out(which is where the recipte was)so i cant return it so im stuck with this stupid agp card for who the hell knows how long

I suggest the asus p5kpl motherboard
it supports both core 2 duo and core 2 quad, has PCI-e slots and is quite cheap depending on where you are
in AUS where i am, its around 90-110$
