I was reading on the price check forums about the minipet pricing guide. It says the value of the minipets, but what I can't understand is WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET THE ONES THAT ARE WORTH 7000K AND WHY HAS NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS BFORE?!

Many of the insanely-priced minis are thus because there's an incredibly small number of them in the world.

You can see that some of them were promotional, or given out to a small number of tournament winners. That's why people are prepared to pay so much for them. Some people must own evvvvvverrything, lol.
Even the normal minis are graded by rarity, e.g. everyone gets a first birthday present, but the Bone Dragon first birthday present is green, so he's a lot rarer than white presents like a whiptail.
Some are gained from hard-to-reach areas like DoA or HoH.

Go back to that wikipedia article and look at the bottom of the page under other.
It tells you all you need to know.
Basically, you can't get them, don't expect for a mini to make you super rich.
