Well on all my characters I have about 6k deaths so 6000 x .25 thats 1500 dollars to play as much as i did

If Guild Wars cost any amount of money after the initial purchase of the game (whatever the campaign may be) I would cease to play. I am firmly against monthly fees for a game I've already paid for. Guild Wars has offered me a convienent, fast paced online RPG that I don't need to pay for every month. The bonus campaigns and content are optional, so if a new expansion comes out, I can choose not to pay. (And can still play the content I have purchased.)
This is why I don't play games like WoW. The monthly fee requires a greater monetary sacrifice, something I just can't afford.
