I just got a mini-pet destroyer via the magazine that came out. However, that is besides the point. You know those glitterballs that people use in Outposts - do these types of add-ons still exist? If so, could some one point me into the direction so I can by some nice eye-candy.

The Disco Balls are for dervish only and the ball of light is for paragon only.
Those are from the Nightfall Collectors edition.

There are also dances for assassin and ritualist in the factions collectors edition,
And there's divine aura, which appears on your hands on all of your characters , this came in the prophecies collectors edition.

These are pretty tough to come by nowadays, and that's the only way to get them.

If you mean the disco ball for the dervish /dancenew, you will need Nightfall Collector's edition.

Well, does anyone know a place where you can buy add-on keys for eye candy?

You can't get the addon key just for the eye candy.
You need to buy the entire CE and add the key.

Not really, at least none I know of, not permanent effects anyway.

The first bit of eye candy I think came with the collectors edition of prophesies those are the glowing hands and sparkle trail some players have.

Then the special dances of the characters already mentioned.

You could get some fun by collecting the festival items, I guess they are eye candy.
Check out the octoberfest thread and or come to the Halloween event thats sure toi be running again.

All the festivals and items are listed online at guildwiki and other places

Hats last forever, the elf potion an hour or so and the rest are very short duration.

Factions and Nightfall Collectors editions are still readily available at some retailers and over the internet. If you add this key to an existing Factions or Nightfall account, the only additional thing that you will get is the special effects for dances that come with those editions. No extra character slots, nothing else.

The same holds true for the Prophecies Collectors Edition. This is much more difficult to come by, and when available for sale on ebay, they are going for hundreds of dollars. The only benefit you get is the Divine Aura if you add to an existing Prophecies account. The Prophecies Collectors Edition is much more subject to rip-offs as you run the risk of getting an exisiting account or a non-working key code and in some cases people are openly selling their exisiting accounts (which is a violation of the EULA).

Of course you get a lot of little goodies in the box, like artwork, music discs etc.
