Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my crap laptop's 512 memory to 2 sticks of these The thing is, my current RAM speed and the maximum provided by the motherboard is 533mhz, and that RAM is 667mhz. Normally I would just go with the 533mhz, but for some reason, it is $35 more (circuit city prices, by far the cheapest I could find). Would the 667mhz work and just run at 533mhz, or would I encounter errors?
I have this computer btw.
Thx

You should be able to use the faster RAM in your laptop, as it will merely clock back to match your bus speed.

Newegg has them for less, if you want to order online. There are probably even cheaper places out there though.
