Question On Bow

Does anyone know which bow this is in this screenshot? Just curious

I found one of those and the animation is great, they should do more variations.

Or maybe storm bows should be lightning only and the animation change colour with string type.

That is one of the oldest and best skins for a bow. The eternal is simaliar in that its ghost like but it doesnt have any lightning animation.

In some ways its a real shame that GW requires absolute balance in all things. When I first started playing the FoW and UW(where these drop) I was hoping the ghostly staffs/chaos Axe/Storm Bow/ Eternal bow would be dealing Chaos dmg and be truely unique and powerfull items.

Um, two things

Yeah, it's a storm bow and really snazzy design, but it's a longbow class. Personally, I don't like fighting with a longbow, and I wouldn't fight with one no matter how pretty it is.

I don't mean to start another debate over the bow damages. Just want to warn the OP that if they don't want to fight with a longbow, they shouldn't go spending their money on a storm bow.

Since when does Chaos damage ignore armor??? I've never seen any indication that my mesmer's wands and staffs ignore armor.

The only type of armour it would ignore as a weapon would be physical or elemental.

valid point, my stormbow is for posing its my going to church bow kept for sunday best.

Rest of the time I use other types.
Currently
Stinger the hornbow green is my main bow
Then a shortbow vampiric
Recurve bow zealous
Usually have a flatbow here but its replaced by a charr slaying bow atm.

Have a sundering and icy bow for backup where conditions make it worth wile.

If only they were as pretty as my stormbow.

Chaos, Holy and Shadow dmg in spell form ignore armor, not on wands or staffs. Sorry for any confusion it was just a dream of mine long long long ago
