Starting a War... make the three millionth W/Mo?

Just wondering for general leveling and PvE campaign stuff if I'd be perfectly fine as yet another W/Mo, or if there's a better obvious choice nowadays.

I'll generally be grouping with one friend, occasionally solo, with Heroes in either case (I do have all three campaigns, though I'm starting this one in Proph, yeck leveling!).

Down the line, I'm assuming W/X will change based on what I'm trying to do (hard mode areas, farming, whatever), and certainly for PvP, but I'm just wondering about getting the char off the ground and started. W/Mo, or something else?

First thing to remember is you can always change secondary. For true solo farming your best choices are usually monk, mesmer, and rit.

I say be creative and go with necro or ranger. Both have condition removal and as a ranger you can tame a pet.

Me/Mo

you probably already started it but...

W/P gives some pretty nice synergy between shouts and echos. I'm generally using Burnign refrain and either blade trun refrain or mending ref.
also depending on the zone and your build you could probably maintain agressive refrain even with 0 leadership.

EDIT : still need to try /P in PvP. Nobuild for that as far as I know but it may just be lack of experience. As for farming I guess you will need to change...
I get a feeling a lot of people just go W/Mo because... they don't get any others idea.

I understand the interest in not wanting to be just another Wammo, but if its what interests you, go for it. For general leveling and PvE stuff, I grudgingly admit it would work fine if you're a smart player. I encourage you to get away from the standard Mending > Healing Hands garbage, but I suppose even that "works" in PvE.

In my opinion (and in the opinion of many in this forum), Mending Touch and maybe a hard res are your best options as a W/Mo. Everything else you really need is in your Warrior skills.
