unholy feast noob question

I was just wondering, at 15 blood magic, unholy feast steals 65 health from up to 4 foes in the area. Does this mean that if 4 foes are in the area I steal 65 health from each of them, totaling up to 260 health gained?

Of course, if you're standing "in the area" of 4 foes with your skimpy AL60 armor, there's a good chance you're about to get whacked for at least 260 damage...

You could have AL70 and depending on what other skills you have, you could theoretically boost your armor (by using Watch Yourself! or some other skill).
You can also cast Enfeebling Blood to reduce the damage inflicted upon you, or even have Aura of the Lich.

If you go with enfeebling blood, Oppressive Gaze will allow you to "heal" and to stay out of melee range.

I agree. It makes a good skill if an enemy gets close. But rushing into a mob to try to heal yourself is rarely a good idea, and probably a sign that you don't know how to play a necro...

If you want self heal, you should not go to meele range to get it, and if you want self heal as necro, there are better options than blood. Use your secondary
