Hey there,
I have been trying to find a copy of the PC Gamer article but no on has it in stock anywhere I look. Perhaps I missed a post on the forums, but has anyone read the article/posted what it has to say about GW2. All I am personally interested in is news on the structured PvP.
Thanks in advance.

Not much PvP news except that the Battle Isles was moved to the ruined Lion's Arch. Guilds are still around and folks from all races are part of the battles.

It says nothing about world battles and structured PvP. Yes, zero.

You did not miss anything.

But I rather fear you are mistaken when you think GW is going to be more of a PvP game just because they promised to unlock all skills for pvp chars from the start. So far it seems they try to create another pve grinder with the name "Guild Wars" but the spirit of title hunt that GW:EN enforced more than ever before.

How they want to revitalize PvP and if they really put priority on it, which I highly doubt - I do not see anything about this in the PC Gamer US article nor in the German special issue.

UAX is a requirement for great PvP. The rest is down to gameplay and balance. No idea what they're doing about gameplay, but by starting afresh they can get the balance back into control by not flooding the game with a thousand skills, and the move away from the chapter-based model suggests they will avoid that.

Who told you this?

They are still planning a chapter based system, however they have learned from previous mistakes and it will happen differently, but it will still happen

The first PCGamer article mentioned there would be UAX for the Gvg-type pvp.

If ANet could keep this promise, it would be awesome.
