A place for books
Mythrill
I already posted the idea in a topic in the Delvers League but i think the idea fits better here in it's own topic.
At the moment you get you hero's handbook and dungeon master guide and most people give the book to the NPC or keep a copy of a full one in thier storage for future reference.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a pedestal (or bookshelf) in the HoM where you can place 1 copy of each completed book instead of let it gather dust and occupy an expensive storage slot in your Xunlai chest?
feedback please!

It would be a fitting addition I am certainly not turning it in “at least on my main character” for the reward you receive. It is much cooler to browse the pages.

I could benefit from it yeah but I think Anet got other important stuff to do and 2 slots aren't much imo.

definitely a good idea. gw:en has so many things that are annoying and seems unfinished. this one aspect would go a long way towards fixing it.

What? Turn the HoM into something more personal? Give up an opportunity to make your way a bit further up some dumb rank? Are you mad man? What do want in there next - the charr skin rug and slippers your mom made?!
Seriously though, it's one of those excellent, kinda obvious ideas I can't believe they didn't do to begin with. I really liked those little books, but it seemed everything in GW:EN had to be polluted by titles in some way.

Why one would hand in their book is beyond me...2500 Xp for over 40 hours dungeon delving and you dont get to browse the pages.

This should have been part of the hall since the start.

I think it's a wonderful idea, and DOES Make the HoM more personable.

Even though 2 slots may not seem like much, many of my characters' inventories are very tightly balanced and so don't actually have space for them.

I'll agree with this when they add more books. Like 5 or so. With only two is not a big deal.

This is fine, makes it more personal but add books for Protector and Guardian titles. That way you have a "historical library" where you keep all great events, from the battle of Fort Ranik to the defeat of the Great Destroyer.
