How to change main menu area and music?

By main menu I refer to the character selection screen, the background area, and the music theme that plays with it. Specifically I'd like to change it from the Eye of the North area and song into one of the others - but I don't see an option for it. If anyone could tell me how to change it, I would greatly appreciate the assistance.

There is no way to change the Eye of the North scene in the log in screen. It has something to do with new technology being introduced in every scene or something odd like that. But if you leave it there long enough, it will start playing Pre Searing music.

Ah... so no way to get the Factions and Nightfall themes on the main menu. Or the backgrounds from them.

Download the GuildWars.ds file from DirectSong, and edit it to play whatever songs you want, and in which priority order. You will also need the ds_GuildWars.dll.

Maybe a tip for "Anet" make an option so you can choose wich "Char Selection" screen you want ;-)

I've already suggested this before.... but apparently it is a no-go, and wouldn't be good for their marketing department.

WTF? How does changing a background on the log in screen have anything to do with marketing? We already own the game so they don't really need to market us anything. I am one of those that likes to change my desktop background almost daily so it would be really nice to able to change the log in screen as well. I liked some of the past log in screens so i don't really see a problem with anet allowing us to change the looks. It can be done with the texmod program. Hmmm...

Not everyone has each game. Specifically the latest (Eye of the North). And that's what they are trying to market.

And all though it seems to pretty much be a lie in some cases, Gaile has said that there's technical problems that restrict them from doing so. (I'll post a link if I can find it.)

I'm pretty sure the log in screens are the same for everyone no matter which campaign you own. But i would think that would be a design issue and not a marketing issue as the marketing would still be there but with a different background. Ahh well, I'm sure they have their reasons as to why and cant change it but it would still be a nice little feature to have.
I really liked the background way back when, there was all of your characters standing there and you click the one you want.

Yep Gaile Said it wasn't possible, because of something having to do with character slots or something like that.
