Can't run Game

I've been playing this game since beta, and never had this problem.

Recently I left Qwest internet and went to Comcast after a one month hiatus.

Now, after updating the files when I click on the game, it stays at 100% and won't load up to the main page where I can log in. It just keeps the grey box on my desktop.

Anyone know how to fix this? My firewall says that all ports are open so I'm really confused.

Try uninstalling GW using the Add/Remove Programs in Windows then going to the GW site and download/install the GW client from there.

I've never re-installed this game since beta, I'd rather not download like 20 gigs again.

right click on the icon.
choose properties.
in the line that reads add in with a space to the end of the line outside the "" "c:guildwars somethin" -repair

prob should fix itself.

btw after it is done you will need to remove the -repair switch.
