For the sake of keeping your suggestion active, You may want to use proper grammar, think about what you're suggesting, and expand on it a bit more.

I think the OP want mini pets that go around and collect your pets. I think this is a kinda pointless idea, and again one of those ideas that turns something cosmetic and hard to get into something functional. This is always bad simply because it is not fair for someone to have to wait/grind for something rare (minipet) that does something useful (collect drops). Keep minipets cosmetic.

I got the impression the op was suggesting minipets could be found as a drop ingame.

Open chest find mini or perhaps kill boss monster drops green weapon or minipet.

if so I dont mind it happening as long as its a very rare chance of it happening otherwise we would be knee deep in pets.

Nothing against it, if it drops randomly from all monsters.
With a fixed random drop rate no matter if your solo or in a 12 mans party.
Just so it can't be farmed for, and everyone has the chance to get it.

They can "collect" any "assigned" drop for a player. They collect items that drop for you. I'm pretty sure that's what they meant.

Sure prices for pets would drop like a rock, so people would stop asking to buy them every other line in LA party search, but we'd be swimming in them. Not sure if it's supposed to be prestige...there's still fewer pets out there than characters because the mag giveaways are only one per account and only characters older than a year or two have gotten any...but they're so easy to get it's ridiculous.

I'd like for the mini panda to become more common..so I can stop seeing 50 people crowded around some monk in LA going "oooh panda me want".

i playing for more 2 years... 100 ectos or req 8 chaos axe in the ground is nothing for me... the drops in the ground is just a drop in the ground... i tired of runnig to get 100 gold white axes... but i not stupid its money... i want colect it to sell to merchant...

Let's get this very clear. The OP is NOT talking about minipets being dropped from enemies, or NPC collectors that trade for minipets, or things like that. He IS talking about giving minipets the ability to be taken out in an instance to walk around a pick up the drops that have been assigned to you.

minipets are, as was said, cosmetic. I know some dogs will get the paper and slippers for you, but I've never heard of a pet that will get EVERYTHING that belongs to you.

Its an interesting idea, I doubt it will happen but then you never know.

What has been mentioned before was a simple keypress to pick up.
press 1 to pick up gold
press 2 to pick up rare items
press 3 to pick up everything

Its worked in other games

What would be even better would be a direct drop into the character's inventory. Sure it's out of OLD OLD rpg's where you just get a message saying you got this or that(besides Zelda which you still had to travel over to collect), and give the character the choice to delete what he/she doesn't want. If the inv is full, make a notification of this and allow the player to clear inventory space accordingly.

Do you want to give me 100 ectos, and I'll follow you around picking up drops for you?

I can see this for dungeon chests (less than 2% drop rate), but nowhere else.
