selling guilds?

hi i want to sell my guild real soon because im joining another one but also think i might be able to cash in abit even if it is just 10k or 15k.

my question is how can i sell my guild, i know there is trade thingy but how can i safely carry out the transaction of giving a guild while taking money?

one has to sacrifice first am i right?

the guild isnt an item so does this mean i have to get cash first before giving the person leadership?? or vice versa..? (i know how awkward it is for the person to be giving cash up front if they think they are going to get ripped off)

do some people not mind doing this or?

also someone told me that on factions you can sell your guild somewhere for 10k? is this correct?

As far as I know there is no NPC that will purchase your guild.

For selling it to a player its a matter of buyer or seller beware. One of you will have to take a risk, either you by making him leader before you take the money or him by paying first.

Generally what happens is you would make him an officer then he would pay you and you would promote him to leader.

hmm yea i was thinking about that tbh, the giving him officer then leader status, i might try that then.

I heard some people saying you sell your guild for twice the actual ammount you want for it, and agree to pay half first and half later. The people usually try and scam you by not paying the second half after you give them the guild but they only think they've scammed you since you set the price at 2x anyway.

you dont sell guild in GW. 99% of people attempting to sell guilds are scammers. the others are noobs. 100$ of people trying to buy guilds are scammers. give it to a deserving player.

Agree. Promote your best officer to leader and bow out gracefully.

Especially if they are trying to sell the guild and its members.
