The skill balance has been written and will likely be posted quite soon, perhaps this evening. We will post an explanation of some changes in the form of a Dev Update tomorrow or early next week. This will be another test period so be sure to let Isaiah Cartwright know your thoughts on the skills, and you can comment on their impact in PvP on the page for Andrew Patrick, PvP Community Coordinator. -- Gaile 00:00, 12 October 2007 (UTC) |

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
And so the wait begins...

Well the ETA is this week so only 2 days left.

Thanks for the link, I was looking for that actually.
While reading it I stumbled across this piece of art about wintersday moa not being tamable:
"The designers have a limit on the number of tame-able pets in the game, for reasons of file size, download needs, and simple design decision."
Altough "simple design decision" might explain it, as an experienced programmer I fail to see how "file size" and "download needs" stopped the designers to make it tamable since it's already in the game.
Oh well, sorry for being a little off-topic, I wonder how the changes will be made. My necromancer is hoping to get a little love ^^

I rather dislike this period of uncertainty and the way ArenaNet handles skill balances in general. Okay on quantity, but subpar on quality.
I realise that balancing skills isn't quite as straightforward as it may seem, I only wish there would be more perfectionism involved.
Anyhow, too much has been written about this already, I hope a different system will be adopted for Guild Wars 2.

In-b4 Splinter Weapon nerf.

It's going to be somewhere halfway my full-doa run and shortly after one or two of us will have an error and will not be able to reconnect
But still I will be excited and read up the skill-changes quickly after that

super strokey
Im hoping that they dont destroy the necros too much and i would love to see another boost to RT's and paragons as they are still the black sheep of PVE imho
