I am new to guild wars and I have noticed that some Ritulist players that when they dance they have a globe above there head and spirits do the same dance. How do I get this since I am currently using a Ritulist character. I have Prophecies and Factions.

The ritualist special spirit dance comes from having Factions Collector's Edition. If you have Collector's Edition, you would type /dancenew for the spirits to appear.
Assassins also have a special dance with Factions CE, and paragons and dervishes have a special dance with Nightfall CE.

You need to have Factions: Collector Edition.
If you have the CE you can get the special dance by typing /dancenew

Assassin gets 2 ghostly dancers
Ritualist gets 2 spirits
Paragon gets the glitter shower with laser lights
Dervish the disco ball
Type /dancenew to get them to work

Alot of shops no longer stock it but occasionally it can be found on the highstreet. Best bet is buy it of amazon as a above.
Though as you can see it is quite pricey...

Its a pity you cannot get an online upgrade to the collectors edition.
Our Dances would be so much more spectacular.
Maybe Arenanet will consider it one day.

seriousley unfair! warriors get no special dance! there needs to be more cool stuff for warriors!

To be fair to arenanet the collectors edition of prophesies gave all characters a divine aura "you sometimes see this as characters run around in towns leaving a sparkling trail".
The dance emotes started much later and so only affect the new characters.
Plenty of time to get your dance suggestions in for gw2 though.

by the way, i have collectors edition prophecies, i know how to get the max weps (/bonus) but what about that sparkling trail? how would you go about activating that?

And I think to activate the proph CD "Divine Aura" you simply type /dance and you will see a sparkle on your characters' hands. If you want the GotY weapons, I think either /bonus or /item will work.
