Deep in Arachni's Haunt

I got the disconnect signal from GW. Clearly I did not disconnect from my end (I am here on Guru), but no matter how many times I try, I cannot get a reconnect. Do I just have to eat it and lose my work so far, or is there a way to reset the GW connection and it still let me pick up where I left off?

EDIT: nevermind. It finally said that since it didn't work, I timed out. The it let me log in and get to Rata Sum no problem . Close this thread, or leav it open if anyone has any siggestions for the future.

Being disconnected from the GW server is not the same thing as being disconnected from the internet.

You have 10 minutes to try to reconnect, but you only get one try per disconnection. I usually try to wait a minute before attempting the reconnect to give whatever caused me to disconnect a chance to go away.

When I had a flaky connection, after the disconnect, I'd alt-tab out of GW and wait until IE or Firefox started working again before clicking on reconnect.

when ive gotten disconected in the past, i would attemp to reconect inmediately, and i could do it more than once until i successfully conected, the time expired or i said no.
