Do i loose my items when i die?

hey... i am new to guild wars and wanted to ask tht do i loose my weapons when i die?

No. You lose nothing when you die, though you do get a temporary Death Penalty, which lowers your maximum HP and Energy until you either earn more XP or return to an outpost.

No, thankfully, you don't lose items like you do in Lineage. Well, actually, this is only partially correct. You can lose a drop sitting on a the ground if say, your group won't resurrect you and the timer runs out - they can pick up your loot!

^did that once, it was a very good drop and my warrior used it for months

We already failed at the quest, he was dead and so were all the henchies, we were discussing meeting back at the outpost to try again and i simply thought theres no use ressing him since were going back to the outpost anyway, so i lied about having a res signet and took the sword when he mapped out...

No, lol, why would you lose your items? That's just a stupid game mechanic...

because mr yan. in many inferior RPG's you do lose things when you die. also dieing happens much less often.

I'm guessing games put this in for realism. Once you're dead, nothing stops your enemy from looting your corpse. I'm happy GW doesn't do that though.

Anyways.. You could lose missions, hard mode vanquishing, and few other things when dieing. But there are no repercussions to the loot you have earned in the past..
