Are Henchmen and Heroes Infused?

Heroes are, hench are after you have done the mission that would infuse you. (ie thunderhead onward)

As an addition, if you didn't know, pets are infused too.

Heroes are infused with 5 pieces, henchmen and pets 3 pieces. Be sure to take that into account when choosing your party.

what is your source that pets have 3 pieces of armor

1. Game update that gave them the equivalent of infused armor, leading to...
2. Utilising Symbiotic Bond to figure out the DPS of Spectral Agony. This will lead to a steady stream of 11 damage redirected to you because of Spectral Agony. Double that is 22, which is equal to the damage that would be dealt at 3 pieces of infused armor.

To be more precise; henchmen are not infused until the infusion cutscene halfway through Iron Mines of Moladune (and even then, only if you are infusing at least one armor part yourself (allegedly)). They are then classed as infused for the 4 remaining missions.
