Ok, i know the /report has been mainly issued in for AB leachers and pvp ect.. But as far as botting goes, does there have to be five or more reports on a bot in order for Anet to take action or notice?

Typically, there is a couple of bots that are actually farming titles. Now i know its just a game and their titles have no effect my gameplay. However, seeing how fast they can easliy cheat and achieve these titles and how hard we have to work for them, it doesnt seem right to me. It hits me extremely hard in my stomach to see a bot achieve a hard time consuming title in such a short period of time.

how do you know that this "person" is a bot? this is why report is megafail. people do not know if its a person or a bot, so what the hell, report them anyway. It's not like its your account, right? /sarcasm

maybe I should report you for being a police bot.

Go ahead. But one player report does nothing other than alert Arenanet. Maybe there should be smaller words in the game.

Bots farming titles? Anyway, that a bot can get a title pretty well says it all about titles IMO.

Right, just because one person sends in a report about someone being a bot, it won't result in that said person being banned. Anet will review the report and take appropriate action. If you send in enough bad reports than the action will be against you.

I don't know why people are so afraid of this report function. Just amazes me. If it helps clean up GW some than I'm all for it.

The Bot that he is referring to is a bot that is running Hero FFF in order to achieve Savior of the Kurzicks (not to mention 3,750g every 10k faction maybe to sell on ebay or something). "The Bot" from what I can tell is just like everyother bot I have seen in GW. It runs to the outpost Sign, waits like 2 or 3 seconds and then zones out and does that constantly with no change in habits. Unless this person has absolutely no life, I have seen them go from Rank 3 to rank 9 in about a week...I Hero FFF alot but I get bored with it after about 30k Faction.

If this is true then a few people who observe it ought to report it. Make Anet investigate it. All I was saying is don't be afraid of someone reporting you - if you're innocent then you will prevail.

Isn't there a down side about false reports? Your likely to get labeled as a false reporter.

Recently there is an increasing numbers of bots in fort aspenwood. Instead of just standing still (and being reported for leeching) they ran back and forward during the the whole game (easy to spot them before the teleporters have been activated).
