Vampire's Rebuke (skill i made up)

Hi all just thinking about making a skill along these lines:

Vampire's Rebuke

Enchant: For 5...25 Seconds Any Foe attempting to steal life from target ally takes double damage.

Cost: 10 energy

Recharge: 30 Seconds

Cast Time: 1

What do you think of this skill? i think it will be great to have a counter to life stealing, as it does ignore armour and has many advantages. Nearly every skill in guild wars can be countered, so why not lifestealing? (I know people say "diversion ftw etc" but i mean like actually getting them back not by interrupting them.

P.S. I am new to the posting in the forum, but i have been lurking here for a few months, and have had some good advice.

Then what about skills like Obsidian Flame which you cant have armor against? Life stealing is usually either by spell or melee and both have their own counters already.

Life stealing doesn't count as damage, therefore the toucher still gets 0 damage when he touches you. Your skill fails.

Thats just the choice of words :P

you could also make something like "HIV" Target other Ally has HIV, if Health is stolen, that foe suffers from weakness, cripple and bleeding which lasts until removed"

The only thing that skill will do is stop touchies. And they're not even that good.

you haven't mentioned what attribute this skill was supposed to be under oO

Personally I see every skill idea useless now that Anet isn't gonna make more Expansions/Campaigns.
