Price won't go higher, except if you can find someone idiot (sorry to insult all those who think otherwise but they deserve it imo) who pay ridiculously more from a fully modded version or refuse to buy some item for it's normal price if it isn't modded with 20/20 & +30HP.

Price of an item comes from req, inherent mods, color & rarity of skin - not from mods that you can change yourself.

First off: It depends greatly on the item. Most everything that is quite common, higher req, blue or purple should ---never--- have mods added unless it is for personal use. No one is going to pay you 100k for a crappy sword because you added good mods. The sword is worth 15k, no one will pay loads more because you blew good money on mods.
