I simply want YOUR opinion. I'm going to get FoW armor for either Ele or Mo. Both chars I love and excel at, so it doesn't really matter.
Right now I'm leaning towards Monk since he has more maxed titles...
Your opinion?
Which do you prefer?

male or female?
female fow is butt ugly imo....there are better choices out there.
Monk fow is good for both male and female, however; there are similar sets out there for them that are cheaper and look just as good.
male ele fow....no idea since I dont have a male ele and most of their armor looks very similar anyways.

BTW, they're both Male.

I really do not like the FoW armor, there is only a set or two that I find "attractive" (and none of them are on a class I like to play, so while I could have purchased one I spent the gold elsewhere). In either of those cases I would choose "other". Over all I find Vabbian to be the top in "pretty" though there are exceptions (I actually prefer most of the 1k armors in Necromancers over any of the higher cost armors).
However, given that I assume you want an actual answer I will do so.
First, which character do you play more? Which do you want to count towards you HoM and GW2? It's probably the same character and I would go with that.
But, if I assume that all else is equal and you are simply looking for what others like to look at I find the following:
Male - no contest, monk. But then why did you choose the male ele anyway - they all pretty much suck. The male monk armor is indistinct but doesn't suck.
Female - Well, again monk. As far as FoW armor goes the female monk *and* ele armor are ones that I like, however the monk has to take the higher choice. It shows some cleavage but (unlike the normal ele armor) it doesn't have the whole "RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO" aspect going on. I just do not find the ele armor to be fitting to their profession, I usually view casters as not wearing armor and it is too much like full body armor.
Over all I find the FoW too austere for my taste - too metallic. It fits in with the over all materials, it looks like shiny pieces of Obsidian are attached to it. However, in game it just looks like polished parkerized gun metal to me and I associate that with functional, not expensive and pretty. In both cases I find that the monks armor is about as far away from that as you can get, I just do not find it distinct enough to be worth the cost.
