Bonus Mission Pack

Well this more a personal question ...

Well i have a small (very big) problem, i live in the Netherlands without creditcard, and i dont think Anet get it on time so dutch people can pay in the ingame store ...
So i have to do it this way, who here has a creditcard and can i trust to help me getting the bonus mission pack?

I had the same issue, but I was lucky enough to have a mom who allowed me to make the purchase via her card. ArenaNet really needs to support bank transfer or iDeal payment. (Or make it available in normal retail stores)

Do you have those visa gift cards there? They work just like a credit card.

I really dont know -_-, where can you buy them ... ?

I also use the Visa gift card for purchases in the on-line store. I got mine from a drug store. Wal-Mart has them, but of course I don't know about Dutch outlets. The website of the card that I have is www.gifts2go.com and that might give you more information about where they are available.

I payed for my GW:EN preorder pack (and GW:EN) with a Paysafecard here in Germany.
Apparently they also seem to have them in the Netherlands.

i did purchase 3 slots forn the store, will i get a confirmation that i can play the bonus missions or it will just be avaliable, i spent on 3 new slots that should have granted me access dont it ?

The question is rather "who here would trust you?" Credit Card Numbers are nothing you would give to any stranger... I would try to look and ask around in your closer circle of friends and family first.

If I were you I also would try to contact the Guild Wars Support team: http://uk.support.plaync.com (I mainly use the UK for it)

They might not have the best reputation but I never had any problems with them if you stay short and clear in your request.

I have asked them and never got a respond back ...

And yeah, youre correct with that trust part
But non of my friends and fammily can pay for me in that store, because they dont have a creditcard -_-
And no1 has debit cards here ...


So i have really bad luck ...

And one problem i think is really a problem ... I live like 5KM (its about 2 miles) away from germany ...

It seems that you can't buy extra slots at the PlayNC store, just at the ingame store...

Meh i think i should start a discussion with al the dutch players, to get them send in a support ticket to help us getting that bonus mission

Maybe Anet will listen then and take us dutch people serious ...

I live in the Netherlands too and I too have parents who don't trust me with their credit cards... at least you're not the only one

Just did some Googling and found out Visa Gift Card is only available in the US

And paysafecard does have a Dutch website... yet they have retailers almost everywhere in Europe except for Holland
Above that, they sell cards @ €25,- and €50,-, while the requirement for the bonus mission pack is €26,-...

This must be some kind of conspiracy...

Don't think so. Always been like this.
But I have not found a CC gift card in the Netherlands.
And the regular used debit card given out by banks is not usable in online stores.

I could have borrowed the card of a friend, but did not want to link my GW information to her card.
Never had a good reason to get a CC myself and could not get one till recently due to bad credit record (banks can't be **** to ask the reason why, they just refuse).

Bonus pack?
Well, if I can get it somehow I'd like to (even by paying some money for it).
But I won't get a CC just for GW.

In Australia i use a bopo card. Basically its a prepaid credit card accepted anywhere Visa is accepted.
The good thing about it :
-Prepaid, so if someone steals it they cant only take the money i have on it
-No monthly or annual fees.
Bad thing about it:
-Prepaid :P

Bopo card is Aussie only... amost every country has something like that, which makes us Dutch feel left out...

It seems to be some kind of virtual credit card from a bank in Germany...
and yes, this one is even available for Dutch

From what I have read on their website I understand you can deposit money by credit card or money order. Also, it seems to be mostly free, charging € 1,- for depositing money and for paying in a different currency...
Okay, you have to be 18, but I guess my parents will let me use their names

My only question is, does this work with the GW ingame store?
I personally think it does, because the In-game store requires:
- Name (in this case my parents')
- Card (in this case Master Card)
- Credit Card Number (check)
- Security Code (check)
- Expiration date (check)

That link isnt a Credit card, but a master card

Ive deposit some money so im checking!

Please let me know if it works... there's just 10 days left (minus 3-5 days for depositing the money) and it appears to be my last hope...
