quick question about exhaustion and weapon swapping

if someone has exhaustion, and switches to a higher energy weapon, does that remove the exhaustion effect?

When you swtch to a higher energy weapon set, your max energy will go up but the exhaustion effect will not be removed. The only way to get rid of exhaustion is to wait for it to wear off (at a rate of 1 maximum energy every 3 seconds) or to change zones.
