An idea just grew up from my mind.
What if there were someplace where you could have access to all the armors of the game(s) you own for free ?
The system could be kind of like the one in PvP. In this area, you can choose sets of armors and use them, only here. When you quit it, any armor you "borrowed" is disabled when you aren't in the fitting room/disappears from your inventory. It is an explorable area where you can come with the party you had at town, however like any armor the borrowed ones are customised. You can also test dyes and mix them. (EVERY dye, not like the ones in PvP where black, white and grey are missing) Those dyes are only useable on borrowed armors.
The area would be either accessible in the Battle Isles or in every big town.
The NPC which give you armors cannot sell "real" sets. If you want to buy an armor you like, you have to look for the merchant, this way everyone must grind for factions armors, beat the game for end-game's, etc.
"Fitting room"

ummm just previewing the Armor off the armor crafter would be nice.

Ooo like in WoW. I like this idea.

Sometimes the dye isn't really the same than in the preview, and you can't see if there are glitches when you move. Plus if you want to mix armors from a different crafter, you can't.

Anyway on topic, I sort of like the fact that you can't tell what kind of an armor combo will work and what will not. Makes it more of a challenge itself and since armor is expensive you can't just buy everything you want so you have to decide carefully. I'm satisfied with the pictures in the wikis tho, otherwise people could just take screenies of their characters in fancy sets without actually paying for it in a so-called "fitting room" and there would be no surprise element as to what the armor would look like on your character because you could just see it all but then again if you have already bought the armor for another char then I don't see why not. Ofcourse there's always dye preview. :7 As for the dye preview I probably wouldn't mind if you could see the dye mix in the preview on the full armor instead of just one piece. (I hate the auto-zoom!)

Armor preview would be nice. But there are the renders on the official wiki to look at.

The renders don't help if you're trying to mix and match. For instance, I like the top half of female monument armor, but not the bottom half, but would have to spend a lot of gold and materials trying out different bits to match them with.

I'm using a "Guild Wiki"!

Matching with hair/skin colour.
Not with wiki.
I like your idea Alicendre.

This would be great because wiki is only good for a basic idea of appearance - you can't get the details or what it looks like in combos or during emotes.
