Has anyone confirmed if you can do any of the "side games" in EOTN in hard mode, what are they like, and what are rewards?

things like:

Norn tournament
Polymock
Punchout tourney
etc...

I did the Punch out extravaganza since thats a dungeon. Frontis Irontoe or something like that, it was harder for sure but doable. Got some good gold drops and some tomes, and since its a dungeon doing it in HM counted towards my eye of the north mastery title.

The charr battle plan quests can be done in HM.. only having around 10 flameshielders firing away on you (even in a Devourer) is a bit overkill.. ><

Neither the norn tourney nor polymock have a hard mode at this time.

Secret Lair of the Snowmen has Hard Mode and it's really fun. Although after four runs, it does take its toll on you. Much more of a challenge than the Normal Mode version. Might even be my favorite part of GWEN.

any hints for the Fronis Irontoe's Lair HM?
I tried it several times and it already drives me crazy, when i see Kilroy run and aggro everything there is, dies after 3 secs and leaves me alone vs all.
I just cant seem to be able to find a good tactics to get past the room with 20-30 dwarves coming next after another.... :\

I just ran to the boss and killed him. Died a few times, but I don't think it's possible to fight your way through all the enemies.

Might try the running trick.

1. Always target and hit whichever mob Kilroy is hitting, with both of you hitting at once the target will go down quickly.
2. Remember that you do gain a certain amount of HP when you 'kill' someone. So try to kill as fast as you can.
3. keep that 1st skill up whenever possible, u know, that one where you block the next melee attack or things like that.
4. When you're knocked out, keep clicking the get up skill AND pressing the number 8 on your keyboard as well and of cuz as fast as possible. the energy fills up very fast even though you get up to 50++ max energy due to knockouts.

that's all i can think of now

It is hard on hard mode(duh), but also very doable.

Be sure to keep up the blocking skill up whenever you can, and be ready to furiously mash buttons when you get knocked down.

the hardest part is with the archers , while you can't use skill 1
and ive assigned keys 8,9,0 to skill 8 so it gets easyer to ocmplete high energy bars (gone up to 110 one time! lol)

It is doable in HM. Another hint: when Kilroy dies try to pull the mob away from him. Once they are away he will res and rejoin the fight. Using the tagline of GW: Nightfall..."Never Fight Alone"
