Ruby Maul in NF

I got a gold ruby maul out of a chest in nf nad it turns out the thing is non-inscribable, any clue why?
it doesnt even have an inherent mod?...
sorry if this is wrogn place, wasnt sure where to ask this.

NF weapon either come with an inscription or not at all.

found in poisoned outcrops HM locked chest.

Some weaponsin NF/GWEN come with no inscription slot just like some weapons in P/F come with no damage mod. It just happens.

That's just bad luck, dude. It happens to the best of us. It even happened to me too, with a chaos axe. I've kept it for myself, I like to think of it as a super-rare drop.

An item is only "gold" if it has a gold mod on it. The 19% deathbane mod is a gold mod. But really, that weapon is no different then any white or blue drop you get that has not inherient bonus mod.
