Is EotN worth it?

Let me put it this way. If you like the idea of playing for hours and hours at things Mostly alone because many do not want to play together through the tedious grind part of the game the 1st time though.
And for 1 dungeon to take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours at time, even in full party groups.
And to get an end game item that is a pale clone of end game items from other campaigns.
And finally to have a HoM to put Future achievments into (not many of your current achievments), that is mostly useless as its not important for at least a year or more until GW2 comes out.
Then sure. why not waste your money and time... God knows We did, so you should have that big A$$ stamp on your head too.
Oh yea. GW its not about grind, its about Skill... Yet right. And I got a bridge in Brooklyn for you to buy too...

I like GW:EN! - it might be a little "short" and there are definitely some isues with HoM (ok - the setup sucks BIG!), but overall I think its fun
I feel everybody (unfairly) continues to compare it to the 3 stand alone games - its an expansion! It's something to do for all the veterans (like me) that feel like crying everytime we even consider creating yet another character and grinding it through 3 campaigns.
Do you have the 3 campaigns? - if not I suggest getting them before spending money on GW:EN
... Thats just one guys opinion though!

I just got EN and I am very impressed, but I have also beaten all three of the other campaigns, if you haven't beat the other two yet I suggest getting those first, Night Fall is good for PvE and an amazing story and Factions is kick ass for alliance battles and PvP, its your preference, EN is a much shorter game but it is just an expansion, there are some cool additions and in my opinion the hero hall is a very cool addition, plus there is books that will mark down all of your achievements as you go through the game, but if you haven't played all three i wouldn't recommend EN.
