Does it give me the energy I need to lay Ancestors' and Splinter on everything?

... no?

Well then... Offering of Spirit will still rule as long as Rageing/Splintering physicals is still the best way to pwn face.

Really, it's a terrible Elite - a free, pitifully weak straight DD/self-heal if you're lugging ashes around.
I'd rather take Channeled Strike, kthxbai... at least that might almost sting...

... Expel Hexes is good too, keep forgetting that one...

There have always been better elites than Caretaker's Charge.

hmm...I guess it could serve some purpose in spamming with Protective was (insert name here), but not too much use, not many elite Channeling spells are really good.

Caretaker's is really weak, tbh.

Any rez works.

Max out chanelling and healing.

This build provides a time bomb that people don't want to explode, while providing perfect energy managment with some good healing and putting out very good pressure. I use this build in ta and RA and want to try it in HA.

... 71 damage and 47 healing (14 spec)...

47 health gain is nothing. 71 damage is almost as bad.

Expel Hexes and Weapon of Remedy do something useful, Caretaker's does not.

Any rez works. When you make a channeling build, remember to ask yourself:

"Am I doing anything that a crappy ele spamming vanilla damage spells can't do better?"

If the answer is no, change something.

I use it on a Channeling AB build.

Hold Item(the one that gives energy+armour) -> Spirit Rift -> Channelled Strike -> Caretaker's Charge.

Is great for killing NPCs at the shrines.

It's certainly not the strongest Ritualist elite skill but it's also not the weakest and can be used in some decent builds imo.

It was a great elite before when the energy gain is 7~8 en.

But, now................hmm.....I would take other elites.

If this skill gave you twice as much health (or just take this part of the skill away and increase the damage), and had an energy return similar to essence strike (if you are carrying an item that is), it could be good.
Right now, its a very weak elite.

If the answer is no, change something. While what you say can be true I have seen this build take out 4 people in RA. It's a good pressure build.

Caretaker's Charge may be somewhat nice for energy and health management on, say, a survivor character or otherwise pansyish PvE player, but unless you're going up against imbeciles (see quote), there are better elites to take into PvP.
