Add more prestige armor...

What have we all (probably) noticed about the prestige armor over the last month?

Everyone is basically wearing the same ones and it takes the variety away which prestige armor was meant to introduce.

There are times you enter an outpost in GWEN and you think your in a rave in a club because all you see are glowing hands everwhere. Its almost at the point where its took the fun out of it.

Or you see 10 people in a day wearing destroyer gauntlets and we all know its because both sets are the most expensive and the best looking.

I question anyone who says they didnt buy either pair for the l33t factor!

Yet we have others, and no one seems to even touch them. Such as the stone, dragon or ice gloves and who could blame them because their not astounding.

We need a bit more variety in prestige armor, especially gloves. Either they can add more collectors, add more gloves to existing collectors or have prestige armor drop from dungeon chests.

Surely adding more prestige armor which can be used by any class is ALOT easier then adding whole new armor sets?

Mayb even have a competition to design new prestige armor/gloves? The top 4 or 5 get added!

The only reason a lot of people have prestige armor in Guild Wars is because they've learned to farm. The community will continue to share their builds and experiences and as a result, a vast majority of players will be able to accumlate vast amounts of wealth. As for me...

I see plenty of monks with 15k kurzick, dyed black. But I still like seeing it on my character.

I don't see too many assassins with 15k luxon dyed black, let alone with a 15k kurzick mask to top the set.

I haven't seen a single person with my unique dervish armor combination.

I rarely see female obsidian clad warriors. As it is, obsidian armor isn't that common of a sight.

Perhaps you're jumping the gun a bit.

Well Since it's a free to play MMORPG I don't think we're the ones to make certain decisions. I smell a Mod With a key closing this thread anyway since Jade has already posted the links of 3 more threads similar

it doesn't matter how expensive or "hard" to get they make prestige armor...there will still be thousands of players out there that look like they raided your closet. get over it.

i can picture it now...

today: "QQ anet give us new armorz!"
tomorrow: "QQ anet teh new armorz are teh suxx0rz!"
next week: "QQ anet everyone has teh same l33t armorz as me, give us MOAR and make it teh expen$ive and make us grind like rabbitz in heat 4 it!"
next month: *see today above*

I have seen a warrior with Krytan body,magma gauntlet and fow legs and shoes on a warrior before, dyed all black, it was very nice.

Ever see a female assassin with Seitung body, canthan legs? It is also very nice.

Some people just need creativity instead of more armors.

Ditto. Unfortunately I don't think they will be adding any armor anytime soon.

i'd like to see more prestige armours like FoW, personally a Torment armour would rock imo, anytihng to bring up ectos again, i liked how that worked and how it was kinda stable,

Question: What would people think about Armor being available on the online store? (NOT FoW)

If not, why is it any different then spending hours getting armor?

If yes, should it be different or the same as existing armor? (excluding FoW, end-of-Chapter armor?)

That Mezo-american armor would have been awesome...This would make a nice Asura armor for warriors.

Ectos are crafting material, they're not supposed to be super-currency...

I had been checking there for EotN art. I guess they posted it while I wasn't looking.

Yea i try to mix and match the armour(s) That i buy. Grab a female assasin.
(Seitung Top) Imperial leggings and 15k Kurzick boots. Ancient Mask and gloves.

Dye it all pink or black
and there we have a unique but sensational armour set.

As it was stated before, there are enough already. If Anet decides to add more that aren't reskins, great. Really, how many do you need?
