Changing Emails/Password

Does anyone know how to change the email/password from your log-in screen on our favorite game?

I'm needing to get it switched from my brothers (who played for a month) to mine (who has been playing that, and now) so it's mine

Try to do it through your play nc account if you used the GW store.

Alright - it's giving me nothing but issues. Saying I'm not logged into my account when I am to go and ask a question to do it. Says I have to create an account when I'm already logged in. Says that when I request that email doesn't exist (yet I can't create an accoutn because that email is already in the system)

Yeah, i'm not sure how to do it now lol. Maybe try to ask support.

Once you've entered the In-game store you cant change your email.

To change your password you have to:
Creat a PlayNC account
Add your Guildwars account to the PlayNC one
Then change password

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be an option for me either...I've sent a mail off to them to see what is going on...

You can't change the email address used as the account login. That is equivalent to changing ownership of the account.

You can change the contact email.

...Blarg. So I'm stuck with this account log-in for Guildwars then?

All I know is that the old system was way better. I know this is another effort to help save accounts from being stolen, passwords changed and then rendered useless to the actual owner.. But how in the hell are the rest of us supposed to change it.... I have a plaync account... Added keys and what not, said htey were invalid.....all i want to do is change my password, this is madness

And if you had troubles entering in an old prophecies CD Key, plan on going through the long and painful process of confirming it with support. It is ridiculous, if someone did get my password, I wouldnt have any chance at saving my account with all the PlayNC security.
