fow armor dilemma (yet another fow thread)

I know this is a total personal preference but because I'm only going to ever do this once and have run out of things to do in GW, I set myself a goal to maybe get a fow set. I have 9 characters but I was going to get my armor set for either Paragon or my Ritualist (which used to be my most played char). I'm still saving up, (can afford the ectos ) and need to save up a bit more to buy shards. Tried the solo FoW Warrior build but i'm not used to it. I usually did UW duo necro/55 (which doesn't always get me ectos after a 30-40 min run)

Rit Fow is sooo different from any other peice of armor which is good and bad (people refer to the teapot but I like it) (rit has already done 3 campaigns so I basically used it to farm greens etc. with friends)

Paragon, what can I say, fow is the best looking armor but I already have 15k elite sunspear and I really like playing the char.


Another problem I have is that I turning cash into ectos / shards. I can probably afford ectos but if they were 4-4.5k to leave me some money to buy shards. I've farmed / saved up some and bought discount ectos from friends but it's not enough yet. I don't want to lose interest and give up so I want to get it sooner than later or not at all.

I find that the return of fow (although I love going in there with my para) give much less (if lucky 1 or 2 shards in 2 hours)


so which char to get fow for?
whats the fastest way to convert cash into ectos/shards (no I don't have enough to buy at 5k a piece) and by the time i do, I probably will have lost interest in it.

Question, because I'm interested in vermin, how to avoid farming code kicking in and ruining drops there?

hmm I should give it a try. My warrior is in NF. I have a 55 necro that I sometimes used to farm hydras in augury rock but it just wasn't worth it because I was making so little money in that amount of time. I tried to solo some other places with necro as suggested by Fuzzy like factions newbie island but again I was making so little money 55ing. I would probably make more in an LB run (I am lazy I barely did that).

Should find more solo places with 55 necro or monk. I tried UW solo witih warrior but got pwned.

Edit: Sound like this should go to farming section :P

Edit: Sound like this should go to farming section :P Solo UW works good with a solo trapper R/Me build but if you get a partner double trapper team builds works super fast in there theres another option for solo UW that use a 600hp monk + 1 hero smiter ... but anyway you will never get so fast money then in vermins ... other options is solo farm bosses but greens have loosed value and considering the time you need for sell the stuff i still consider vermins the fastest way for it .... chuiiif im missing good old days of ettins and trolls farm ... how i miss them specialy when a sup vigor or a sup absortion drops and you sell it in 1 minute by 60k to 90k .....
