i bet, if its needed to make external links to the images, the Admins would tell us.
The things they do, goes deep into the systems. Prolly migration issues between databases. They try to fix it the best way. Sooner or later it will work. Hopefully sooner.

Wow... just read thru a lot of threads and it looks like updates will make a great improvement. thanks to all those who are bleeding from the eyes with all the work. I've done some database revamping and what little i've done is enough to understand that it's no small thing. while your in there and everythings down you do all you can that will make some major improvements with what little time you have. new ideas come in every once in a while and changes things... extends things... but overall will make it much better. after all, thats what's happening to GW2. it started out as another camnpign of sorts. now look at it, its all together different... and better. I can't wait to play it. as i can't wait to see what the new auctions site will be like.

thanks for all the hard work to all who are participating. we wait patiently to see the final outcome.
