[skill]mending refrain[/skill] with a H/H group (or real person group with patient players) you can apply it to all party members and keep it running forever with just a 5 energy with a skill like [skill]anthem of flame[/skill]. My question is the 4 pips on the whole party worth the time and energy? Keep in mind I am new at the motivation thing but I seem to be walking over every one in PVE.

Opinions welcome

I would also welcome some motivational builds

Well, TBH I never bring it because setting it up on the whole party is a pain. Once its there though its easy to maintain as you pointed out. On the whole I think 4 pips of regen for each team member is quite decent. Especially in areas where you have to deal with degen.

Its pretty lame against a spike group, but it really helps with pressure. I wouldnt use it outside GvG or pve, mabay HA because of te pretty long set up time and its really annoying if you miss it and it goes off >.<.

Its pretty good if you know someone else in your team is using another shout, I only take it if I'm taking another shouter somewhere in the team, so if I go down, it can still be maintained.

If your going with heroes/ henchies in pve feel free to do that. Pugs usually won't realize "I need to be in ear shot of the paragon" and they'll go off running around and making you miss a chant here and there. Especially when they tell you to hurry up because your stopping every 10 seconds.

Dont spec to +4 mending, go for +3 one to have enough atts left for spear/leadership.

Think about mending refrain this way: its 48 HP healed each seccond spead over whole party .. every seccond, and for free. its not stelar, but still quite good for motivation line.

Bad thing is that you cant see who has it applied, so upkeep can be pain.

Imho, okay skill for human para, quite good skill for hero para, which has no issues with reaplying.

3 regen = 48 heal per second.
4 regen = 64 heal per second.

Depends though, on what you want to do. I run Ballad of Restoration too, on me and a hero, so the motivation helps with that a little. 2 Ballads + 2 Anthems of Flame + TNtF + ToF and this never go down once up.

I always let my hero do it though, they have a much better time at multi targeting.

Yep, hero paragons are better with mending refrain than human ones. It is annoying to check and you can't actually check on whom it is still active.

Just like Death Nova, MM Heroes apply it with ease where it would be a lot of micromanagement and effort for a human player. Mending Refrain is not that bad, but it still is too cumbersome for my taste.
